Wir waren mit 11 Personen und 3 Autos da und hatten tolle Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus wie auch mehr als genügend Platz für Alle im Haus ! Wir fanden die Aufteilung und die Einrichtung der Räume sogar noch schöner als auf den Fotos dargestellt und jedes Zimmer hatte ein ausreichend geräumiges Bad. Uns hat auch eine kleine Überraschung im Kühlschrank erwartet über die wir uns sehr gefreut hatten. Da wir etwas später eingetroffen sind war die Tür des Hauses offen und der Schlüssel, sowie eine kurze Information über die Hausregeln lagen auf dem Tisch. Der Gastgeber hatte uns allerdings im Voraus informiert dass es sein kann das er noch unterwegs ist zu dem Zeitpunkt unserer Ankunft, hat uns aber zum Abend hin nochmal kurz besucht und herzlich begrüßt. Es war sehr sauber und die Umgebung war schön ruhig. Das Café nebenan hat jeden Tag geöffnet, das können wir wirklich weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten unsere Privatsphäre und wurden auch nett verabschiedet. Vielen herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt den wir bei euch hatten! Schöne Grüße!!

Dit huis is echt een unieke plek; zowel het huis als de locatie. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien voor een groep, met de mooie slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, volledige keuken en voldoende plek in alle ruimtes en heel sfeervol. De locatie is dichtbij Amsterdam en met de lunchroom op het terrein ook een ideale plek als de dag bij het huis zelf doorgebracht wordt. Alles bij elkaar is deze airbnb ideaal voor groepen (zoals in mijn geval voor teambuilding)! Communicatie verliep spoedig, duidelijk en soepel.

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad met ons team in dit verblijf. Bij aankomst lag er (heerlijke) zelfgemaakte yoghurt in de koelkast. Mooie idyllische omgeving. Een echte aanrader.

We stayed for a week in early December. The hosts are very polite and accommodating, and we weren’t unnecessarily disturbed. The architecture of the house is stunning! The beds are very comfortable and there was more than enough space for our group of 12. The house also had great heating (very important in the winter months)! The surrounding area is beautiful farmland with many great cycling roads and walking paths. Our stay was a magical experience!

A lovely welcoming home in a rural setting that was perfect for our two families for a week. The owners have thought of just about everything and there are lots of nice touches including tea, coffee, and sugar left on the side, along with some delicious yogurts from their farm in the fridge. The kitchen has just about everything you need including a coffee machine. All the bathrooms are modern and well equipped and they have even included hair dryers and plenty of toilet rolls! Personalised instructions for the house – which added to the welcoming feel – were left for us on arrival, together with maps of local supermarkets, the village and metro stations to make our stay even easier. The city is easily accessible with a metro station just a 15 minute drive away. We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to Amsterdam and would highly recommend it.

Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum. Die Schlafzimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes sehr schönes Badezimmer. Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche sind wie der Rest des Hauses perfekt dekoriert und sehr gemütlich. Alles ist super sauber. Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und auch die Bahn sind mit dem Auto sehr schnell zu erreichen. Nach Amsterdam fährt man ca. 20 Minuten. Wie waren mit insgesamt drei Autos dort und haben alle Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus gehabt. Der Hausvermieter Femke und seine Familie sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wurden von ihm herzlich empfangen und durch das Haus geführt. Im Kühlschrank wartet sogar eine kleine Überraschung von ihm auf uns. Unser Wochenende dort war rundum perfekt uns wir würden immer wieder gerne hinkomme.

Could not recommend this beautiful home enough. Being outside of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam was a definite highlight. Our party of 11 fitted comfortably and we loved the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Our party did not have a car, so the house is about a 40 minute walk from the train station where you can get a train into Amsterdam centraal. The walk is beautiful however and you get to meet plenty of farm animals. Would definitely stay again

“Look, there´s our castle!” one of our group – the 3-year old Rólant – said when he saw “our home” as we arrived from one of our trips to Amsterdam City… And indeed he was right! Our family and friends enjoyed our special holiday along the beautiful river Gein. Anna’s Voorhuis was charming and perfect for our large group, with each bedroom equipped with a private bathroom. We enjoyed exploring Abcoude and with the train station so close we were easily able to visit Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht during our stay. Femke was kind and helpful – a great host.

This house is not downtown, which we actually liked. The small town of Abcoude was very quaint. You can take a short drive (or walk) and park near the bridge and then walk to the train. From there it is about 20 minutes into Amsterdam. It was nice to be close enough to the city to visit, but we still were able to experience the culture outside of the big city. The small cafe next door was great for breakfast before starting our day. The hosts were both very friendly and accessible. They answered emails very quickly. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely family stay. We rented the place for a long weekend and had the opportunity to visit both the city and the countryside. House is really well equiped, quite and perfect traveling with kids (5 to 13 years old). It’s really easy to get to Amsterdam by train, enjoy the day, visit and come back to the lovely and calm countryside. We loved our stay and recommend taking a bike ride in the area. Thanks Femke

This place was a perfect base for our group of photographers. We had our own vehicle and it was great to settle into any of the 4 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The community dining room and living rooms were great places to socialize as was the well appointed kitchen. The outdoor eating area looked great, but the weather didn’t cooperate enough to use it. The cafe next door was a pleasant surprise, as was the fact that there are two windmills within walking distance. Be sure to ask for some of their home made yoghurt! Abcoude is an adorable little town with an intact historic core district, restaurants and shops. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The house is located perfectly to explore Amsterdam but also to enjoy peaceful surroundings with typical dutch landscape features. The house itself is rather stylish and we loved to stay there.

Beautiful house. Really clean and tidy when we arrived and the beds where super comfortable! The host Femke was welcolming and laid back and made the effort to work around us. The house is quite a walk from the station so i would suggest bikes if staying there for any length of time. It was located in a lovely area. I would definatley go back again, probably in the summer so you can make use of the garden by the river and bbq.

Whatever I write cannot do justice to this house . It was a very very beautiful house located in a peaceful and superbly beautiful locality. The house had everything a large group like ourselves required. So much place to eat sit and sleep. Every room was brilliantly decorated with amazing lights and paintings all over the house. Our host also provided us with fresh yogurt in three flavors and all were amazing in their own way. I loved the house and if you go you would definitely love it too if you want to stay in a peaceful area

The house was amazing! Exactly as described and the home owners were helpful. There is a great little restaurant right next door with amazing food and pie. Would recommend for a great little scenic place outside of Amsterdam!

In the area for an anniversary we spent two nights in the accommodation. The owner has welcomed us warmly with a tour of the house. We enjoyed the homemade yogurt as well as the instructions they had taken care to translate into French. The house is very nice in a quiet area. Being a group of 12 people, we enjoyed the very large living room, the kitchen very well equipped and especially the 4 bathrooms. We strongly recommend Thank you for everything.

Femke ontving onze groep heel vriendelijk en was steeds makkelijk te bereiken en snel in haar reacties, zowel voor als tijdens ons verblijf. Heerlijk huis, met bij elke slaapkamer een badkamer, een grote eettafel en keuken en voldoende ruimte in de woonkamer voor iedereen (wij waren met 11 personen). De omgeving is mooi, landelijk, en rustig, ideaal voor een weekendje weg. Voldoende voorzieningen in de omgeving, dus je komt hier niks tekort!

Geweldig! Maar dan ook alles! Genoten van de hartelijke ontvangst met eigengemaakte yoghurt, de locatie direct aan het riviertje met sloep, de prachtige diverse stijlvolle ruimtes en de lichtinval, het comfort, huis met karakter en Amsterdam binnen handbereik! Wij waren met een gezelschap van 11 personen. Relaxte buitengewoon vriendelijke eigenaren Henno en Femke.

Charming and delightful country house in a post-card landscape, outstandingly clean. The host is very keen and helpful. No better stay in Holland. Un coin de Hollande merveilleux, une maison de campagne extraordinairement propre et accueillante. Madame Femke nous a accueili d’une façon très gentille et disponible. A recommender.

El propietario cumplio con todos nuestros requerimientos adicionales y fue muy amable con nosotros en todo momento. Yo tuve problemas medicos y se intereso inmediatamente por mi estado . Me dio toda la informacion del medico mas cercano. La casa es muy bonita y responde fielmente a las fotos. Esta muy bien equipada y comoda con 5 cuartos de baño . No es pequeña para 12 personas en absoluto. El entorno es maravilloso rodeado de campo y verde, animales,vacas,caballos, gallinas ,ovejas….cerca de un canal por el que a veces pasaban canoas. Mucha paz y tranquiilidad. Se accede por una carretera muy estrecha y hay que tener cuidado con no atropellar a ningun ciclista y ojo con los coches que vienen de cara. Como punto a mejorar esta en las paredes del comedor ,necesita un poco de pintura. La casa esta muy bien situada para ver muchas cosas importantes cercanas.Recomendare esta casa a quien me pregunte para ir a holanda. Fernando

Our stay with Femke for two nights was probably one of the best part of my one month tripe in Europe. We have been 12 person ( 3 families with 4 children and a baby ),and I cannot describe how much our childrenenjoyed. The area is a peace of paradise, the house was well equipped for the children with lots of things to play,the kitchen was wonderful, and the house was completely clean. Thanks Femke for everything

Very nice house in a lovely environment. Each bedroom got a nice bathroom and the kitchen got some nice gadgets. Got a nice welcome when we arrived, and the hosts where just around the corner if we needed anything. Next door is a nice breakfast/lunch restaurant with local organic products. I really recommend this place if you want to be close to Amsterdam but also be close to nature.
